Pastor Junie's Angels...

Meet ate Nelg...

Her heart is really for a mission... She's been in the Blessed Hope Foundation for quite some time... She's the kind of person who look so serious but wait til you get to know her and you'll see the other side of her... She's now out in the field with the other God's warrior... Warrior? Yes they are warriors... they are on the field for a very significant battle... They are empowered by God's Holy Spirit to reach out among people and share the good news! They are warrior without a weapon other than the Word of God...

Meet Ate Emily

The soft-spoken, super cool Ate Ems... She's been in the mission for a very long time now... She devote herself in spreading the good news and ministering other people... Ate Emily is absolutely a very kind-hearted person! She's with the group, the Battalion Commander! She's out on the field with them to guide them... But she'll be leaving soon for another mission... You could never go wrong with Ate Emily...

They are Junie's Angels... His helpmate in accomplishing God's agenda for Maramag...

Lost and Found....

If you are not familiar to a place and you get lost from your companion, what should be the first thing that you are going to do?
a) cry
b) screamed for help (exaggerated :))
c) call the police
d) none of the above

If you were born half a century ago where technology knows nothing yet about mobile communication then perhaps you will really get panicked and do all or most of the options above...

Good thing there is a mobile phone... added premium to that is the unlimited texting...
(Thanks to Globe, SMART and SUN) {Where's the moon?}
Junie was lost in the middle of where? IN GAISANO MALL VALENCIA hahahaha...
They went there to buy curtains... and maybe he's up to something that out of his knowledge he get lost! The mall isn't that big anyway for such a big guy like him :)
Good thing he got a preloaded unlimited (for a day) phone and voila, texted me asking for Ate Nelg's number... GOod thing i got a preloaded unlimited (for a day) phone too!
That settles it...

Ultimate Goal

Wow...being out in the field is such a great challenge! Everyday you'll be dealing a new experiences... When you are out in the field, you'll able to discover a lot of things... How much more if you're in the field for a mission, not just a mere mission but a mission with a cause...

What's more exciting is that you'll get the chance to meet a lot of people with different personalities... It is through them that we'll get to know ourselves better by the way we deal with them...
His experience on the field is something he was really thankful about...
Children often visits them just to play with them or ask them to teach them something new! Wow! isn't it great?!
He learned to love his new surrounding, he learned to like the people around him and he is pursuing more to finish his race with a triumphant heart that in the end, God's rewards will be overwhelming!

Out From His Comfort Zones...

Who would want to escape from his comfort zones and do something unusual? Only few did. Only few has the heart to give up something for new uncommon things... Some prefer to stay where they used to be... to a place where contentment is at its peak... But what difference does it make if we'll go out from our comfort zones and do something that is more sensible beyond our comfort... It could never be that easy... It needs patience and dedication... But isn't life more fulfilling if we did something not because we are obliged but rather we have the compassion to do so?
How about you? When will you go out from your comfort zone? :)

Hands-on!

Being a laborer in the field is a very challenging task! You need time, talent, effort and of course dedication! The absence of any of those I've mentioned earlier may crippled anyone who attempts to be on the field... You may have the time,but you don't have the effort and the talent then maybe it will be difficult to continue... But however, there are ways to move ahead if you have the DEDICATION to do so.. it's the attitude of the heart that matters... Things can be learned,time can be spared, talent can be taught but the heart- it's a personal thing, a personal conviction of every individual...
The bottom line is, THE HEART OF THE MATTER IS THE MATTER OF THE HEART!
Have a happy Tuesday everyone!

He Has Decided To Follow Jesus...

I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.

Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
Though I may wonder, I still will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.

The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.

Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.

Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

A couple of years ago, he made a decision to accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour, now he decided to follow Him by obeying the Great Commission...
DEFINITELY, NO TURNING BACK!

His Parents...

Old picture from his parents during their wedding... I can really tell how much he cared for them... They were both old now, his father is bedridden... his mother takes care of his father... I once called her mom on the day he left and she was crying (actually we both cried that I hung up the phone)... According to her, this was the first time that his youngest son was quite far from her... The more she burst into tears when he hugged him tight before he left... He is not that showy in expressing his love or feelings... His mother knew that, but they can really feel how much he cared for them though they misunderstood each other sometimes...
She even planned to go with him at first, but she just can't leave her husband alone... Right then and there after that short conversation, I realized and proved that indeed, Junie was quite a Mama's boy hehehe...

Jeremiah 29:11

This is the promise of God...
This is what he was holding on and hoping for...
This is what keeps him going...
This is what keeps him to continue with his calling...
This is the promise that he keeps in his heart...
And this is the promise that gives meaning to all his endeavor
